GLASENSIUM

Hear, smell and feel glass

During a factory tour through the EISH GLASENSIUM accompany you in the glassworks Eisch experience with all your senses the process of creating a glass product from melting to finishing. Observe the transformation of glowing mass into artistic objects directly at the furnace. Tuesday to Saturday at 9.30 and 11 a.m. you can mint your own coin from red-hot glass as part of a tour of the factory.

The connections between glass and fire, glass and wood, glass and flavour, glass and music and glass and art are brought to life in an impressive way. Test your own skills in recognising and naming aromas, play a large glass instrument and feel the impressive fascination that emanates when fire and sand combine to form glass.

Children of primary school age can go on an exciting journey through glass production with a treasure map during the factory tour.
Text panels in German, English and Czech guide visitors through the GLASENSIUM.
