Specialist Retail Partner No. 1
This year once again Glashütte Eisch is No. 1 among German glass manufacturers! In the selection of preferred industrial partners by the German glass/china retailers, Eisch was awarded the highest marks among the eleven possible glass manufacturers, with an average mark of 2.02. The assessment covered the areas loyalty to specialist retailers, market development/margin, topicality of the product range, complaints behaviour and market importance. Since 1995 Glashütte Eisch has been awarded first place 15 times in the selection of partners by the German glass/china retailers. The results were presented during a ceremony at the Ambiente 2015 international specialist fair in Frankfurt am Main.
Winner in the glass test of WHISKY Magazine
In the glass test of WHISKY Magazine (issue 24) the malt whisky glass by Eisch was the clear winner. The glass from the JEUNESSE series achieved first place in 3 out of 5 categories. The competition was extremely high-ranking. You can read the complete original article here.
Commended in the national innovation competition “Land of Ideas”
Eisch was commended for the development of the SENSISPLUS glasses by the then President of the Federal Republic Horst Köhler as one of the most innovative companies in the Germany-wide competition “Land of Ideas”.
SENSISPLUS: Product of the Year
In 2007 SENSISPLUS glasses were commended as the Product of the Year by the Canadian Gift & Tableware Association.
Culinary Institute of America
The Culinary Institute of America uses SENSISPLUS glasses by Eisch in its Wine Spectator Restaurant, in the Rudd Center and for the further training of sommeliers.
Helmut Kohl visits Eisch
On the occasion of the opening of the Glass Road in 1997 the Federal Chancellor of the time, Helmut Kohl, visited Glashütte Eisch. The photo shows Helmut Kohl together with Erwin Eisch who had modelled the Chancellor’s head in glass.
