Wood Edition

With the mouth-blown decanter WOOD EDITION on its handmade wooden base, you can celebrate wine culture in a contemporary way. The carafe is mouth-blown of high-quality lead-free crystal. It forms a harmonious unit with the base made of wood from the Bavarian Forest, which is cut, glued and turned by hand in Germany. The treatment with oil emphasizes the structure of the wood and brings it to its best advantage. The surface of wood is shown by oiling in a smooth gloss, which can be refreshed at any time by re-oiling (e.g. with linseed oil).    Instructions for refreshing the wood structure with oil:  • Apply the oil to the clean and dry wooden surface with a cloth. • Distribute and massage the oil in the grain direction. • Let the oil work for 15 to 20 minutes. • Oil can now be re-oiled as required. • Remove excess oil with a dry paper towel or cloth.   For cleaning and caring the decanter, we recommend the EISCH cleaning pearls, the EISCH decanter dryer, which dries even hard-to-reach areas inside glass vessels, and the EISCH polishing cloth.
