The Eisch Tour of France is bringing the fabulous SENSISPLUS tasting experience to TOP wine producers of France. Start of the 26 days tour was at the Château La Lagune in Ludon-Médoc, near Bordeaux. Gavin Hubble reports about the first evening:

„What better way to start my 2016 EISCH Tour of France, than by having a vertical wine tasting of 11 vintages (2004 – 2014) here at the stunning Château La Lagune, the producer of arguably the most elegant wines in the Haut-Médoc. The tasting was directed by Maylis de Laborderie (assistant winemaker) – and we were joined by a VIP wine group from the States. During the tasting I briefly took the group and Maylis through the effect the EISCH ‘SensisPlus’ stemware has on wine. As we compared each of the wines in a classic wine glass – then in the EISCH ‘SensisPlus’ Bordeaux Glass. As the wines got young the EISCH glass expressed so much more to everyone. A unique and wonderful opportunity to taste these diverse vintages side-by-side, and to have Maylis talk us through the vintage characteristics…. A stunning start to what will be 26 days of terroir, tradition and a celebration of flavours…“
